NepalBazar
1. Overview
NepalBazar is a local classifieds marketplace for Nepal. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the NepalBazar mobile app, how we use and share it, and what choices you have.
By creating an account, signing in, or continuing to use NepalBazar, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile — When you sign in, we receive information your sign-in provider shares with us based on your authorization, such as your name, email address, and profile photo URL. Available sign-in options depend on your device: Google and Sign in with Apple on iOS, and Google and Facebook on Android. You may optionally add a phone number in your profile and choose a preset avatar or your sign-in provider’s profile photo.
Listings — When you post an ad, we collect the title, price, photos (from your gallery or camera), description, and location you provide.
Messages — In-app chat content, including offers and phone numbers you choose to share with other users.
Ratings — Star ratings you submit about other users after a deal or chat.
Location — If you allow it, we use device location to show listings in your browse area and when posting ads. Location is optional.
Device and app data — App preferences, cached listing feeds stored on your phone (clearable in Settings), push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and basic technical data needed to run the app.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Create and manage your account
- Publish, display, search, and moderate listings
- Enable chat, saved ads, and ratings between users
- Send push notifications you opt into
- Keep the app secure and improve reliability
- Respond to support requests and enforce our terms
We do not show third-party ads in the app. We do not use your account ID or device advertising ID for advertising. We do not process card payments inside the app — deals and payments happen directly between users.
What we collect and how we use it may change over time. We will reflect material updates in this policy and the “Last updated” date above.
4. Third-party sign-in
Google, Apple, and Facebook process your login under their own privacy policies. We only receive what you authorize them to share with NepalBazar. Sign-in options by platform:

5. What other users can see
Other users can see what you publish — listings, public profile fields — and messages you send them. Your optional phone number is not shown on your public profile.
6. How we share information
We may share information:
- With other users — listings, chat messages, and public profile information you choose to share
- With service providers who help us run the app, including Supabase (database, authentication, storage, realtime), Google, Apple, and Facebook (sign-in), and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
- When required by law, to protect safety, for moderation, or in connection with a business transfer
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Your choices
- Location — optional; control via system settings and in-app browse location
- Cached listings — clear in Settings on your device
- Theme and preferences — stored on your device
- Account deletion — email Admin@Pixelmaster.in to request deletion of your account and associated data
8. Permissions
Depending on how you use the app, we may request access to your camera, photo library, location, and notifications. You can deny or revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time.
9. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and operational purposes. Contact us to request deletion.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Use a strong sign-in provider account and be careful about what you share with other users in chat or listings.
11. Marketplace notice
NepalBazar connects buyers and sellers but does not verify every listing, user, or message. Meet safely, verify items in person, and report suspicious activity to Admin@Pixelmaster.in.
12. Prohibited use
You may not use NepalBazar to post illegal content, adult or sexually explicit material, or to access the service through modified, reverse-engineered, or otherwise tampered versions of the app. If we find abuse or violations, we may remove content, limit features, suspend or delete accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where permitted by law.
13. Children’s privacy
NepalBazar is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
14. International processing
Your information may be processed on servers outside Nepal through our service providers (for example, Supabase and Google Cloud infrastructure).
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of NepalBazar after an update means you accept the revised policy.
